For this two-level project, the homeowners selected TimberTech Advanced PVC decking in the color American Walnut. This color is a great choice because it complements the color scheme of their home and brings out some of the warmer brown tones in their roof.
We also love the client's choice of clean black railing and framing materials, which are accented by the crisp white posts around the perimeter. A beautiful, timeless palette!
This project features alternative framing in the form of composite lumber from Owens Corning. This particular product is available in several colors, and our homeowners chose black for their space. The composite lumber looks very similar to wood - and even includes realistic grain patterns - but will withstand the Minnesota climate better and much longer than natural lumber can.
The screened-in porch area of this project features a continuation of the TimberTech American Walnut decking seen throughout both levels, along with custom glass panel railings and vinyl-and-screen windows by Sunspace Twin Cities. On the ceiling, we installed a gorgeous segmented beadboard ceiling to polish off the space.
