When our clients reached out, their two existing decks were aging, uneven, and no longer functional for how they used their outdoor space. Lakeside Decking stepped in to completely reimagine both structures—removing the originals and rebuilding them from the ground up with enhanced design, durability, and usability in mind.
The main deck, roughly 20’x19’, now features clean, squared edges for a refined architectural look and dual staircases—one on the east side and another leading to a landing on the west side for easier access. Two tall corner posts were added for string lighting, creating an inviting nighttime atmosphere. Beneath the deck, we installed a custom drainage system to keep the space below dry and usable year-round. The smaller deck was transformed into a practical square landing with stairs that connect seamlessly to the yard, improving overall flow.
Both structures are framed with pressure-treated lumber and corrosion-resistant hardware, ensuring long-term stability. For the finish, we used TimberTech Advanced PVC decking in American Walnut from the Landmark Collection, paired with bronze TimberTech Impressions aluminum railing for a cohesive and elegant aesthetic. Every post includes wired LED lighting connected to a smart transformer, giving the homeowners full control and ambiance at the touch of a button.
